Hi and welcome to my new blog!
This is the place where I'll showcase some of my work assisting cancer patients look and feel their very best. I've traveled all over the US demonstrating how easy my program is in the privacy of your own home.
I authored the book Facing the Mirror with Cancer: A guide to using makeup to make a difference.
After 20 years of doing makeup for celebrities and models nothing's more rewarding than taking a person who has been stripped of their normalcy, to look at the mirror and see a true reflection of themselves once again!

About Me

- Lori Ovitz
- Chicago, IL, United States
- For the past eight years, I've been applying makeup in private sessions without charge for patients at the University of Chicago Hospitals. I sit on the board of directors for the University of Chicago Hospitals Cancer Research Foundation. From the many cancer patients that I've met, I learned a great deal more than just makeup solutions; I also learned firsthand about the enormous energy that looking good gives to a person with cancer. http://www.facingthemirror.org
